NEW ORLEANS Police are looking for a suspect they said shot a man following an argument over a cell phone charger earlier this year.

Police said 32-year-old Milton Newman and a 25-year-old man were inside of a home in the 1200 block of Belleville Street arguing over a cell phone charger when Newman allegedly threatened to go get a gun and then left the residence.

Police said Newman later returned and shot the victim several times. He was hospitalized for what at the time were life-threatening injuries.

The incident occurred on April 13 at 4 a.m.

Anyone with information on Newman's whereabouts is asked to call Crimestoppers at 822-1111.

Newman is wanted for aggravated battery by shooting.
