Arian Foster ran for two touchdowns and Ben Tate rushed for 95 yards and another score in the first half. Foster, the NFL's leading rusher in 2010, returned after sitting out Houston's preseason opener against the New York Jets with a sore hamstring.

Tate, a second-round pick in 2010, was seeing his first game action since breaking his ankle in the first preseason game last year. He had a 4-yard touchdown and gained 43 yards on another run in the second quarter.

'Obviously it wasn't real good,'said Saints head coach Sean Payton. 'We've got a lot to do to improve. They whipped us. This will be an important week for us.'

Payton was referring to the team's week of practice-away-from-home in Oxnard, California.

Drew Brees went 7 for 14 for 109 yards in a little more than a quarter for the Saints. Chase Daniel threw a TD pass to Joseph Morgan and Mark Ingram scored for New Orleans.
