NEWORLEANS - Young people across New Orleans can submit their applications for the Youth Works summer job program.

The $2.7 million program offers quality summer experiences to teens aged 14 to 21 by providing meaningful skill-building support, career exploration and access to entry level jobs in high-demand industries, officials said.

There are spots available for 2,100 young people.

Applications must be turned in before April 14.
