NEW ORLEANS -- Saints quarterback Drew Brees and the Idea Village are helping some local high school students accomplish their dreams of being entrepreneurs.

High school students from Cohen, Newman, Lusher Charter School and St. Augustine High School competed in this year's Trust Your Crazy Ideas Challenge.

This year's winner was Lusher with their 'I Am' campaign. Their prize is $10,000.

Brees said the best part about the competition is watching the kids work as a team.

'When they finally land on that idea, and really the call to action for this year's Trust Your Crazy Ideas Challenge was to form a movement, to a create a movement within your school, within your alumni base, within your community, that would allow change, positive change,' Brees said.

'And all four schools did a phenomenal job,' he said. 'They really had so many great ideas. It was so hard to pick a winner, but in the end they all deserve to be awarded and certainly recognized for their achievements tonight.'

Brees said that since all of the teams had such great ideas this year, everyone was going home with $2,500 to go toward their campaign.
