METAIRIE, La. Saints fullback Jed Collins returned to practice for the first time since the week of the Tampa Bay game, going through full drills Thursday ahead of Sunday's season finale against Carolina at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.

Collins originally injured his left knee against the Bucs on Dec. 16. He sat out New Orleans' win over Dallas this past week, his first missed game due to an injury in the past two seasons.

Running back Pierre Thomas, meanwhile, sat the second straight day with a right knee injury sustained during practice last week. He still played against Dallas, running seven times for 16 yards and catching seven passes for 61 more yards. He also returned two kickoffs for 27 yards.

Cornerback Jabari Greer sat once again with a concussion suffered in the first half against Dallas. Additionally, defensive tackle Akiem Hicks was held out for a second day with a left knee injury.

Tight end Jimmy Graham (left wrist) and running back Chris Ivory (hamstring) were both full.
