The businessman who gave bribes to former Jefferson Parish President Aaron Broussard will serve 20 months in prison.

At his Tuesday sentencing, William Mack also was ordered to pay a $60 thousand dollar fine as part of his bribery conspiracy conviction.

Mack, the owner of a telecommunications company, received a reduced sentence for cooperating against Broussard.

Broussard is now serving a 46-month sentence.
