KENNER, La. Police announced the arrest of two men accused in two separate instances of rape involving a child.
On Thursday, police arrested Horace Lee Foster, 47 on crimes of aggravated rape, sexual battery and indecent behavior with a juvenile. Police said that a warrant had been issued for Foster after a young victim came forward to report that during a period between Sept. 2009 and August 2010, Foster engaged in intercourse with a 12-year-old.
A police spokesman said that Foster told police he has an addiction to crack cocaine and wasn't sure if he had sexual intercourse with the young girl or not.
On Friday, police arrested Johnny Zuniga-Pacheco, 28, on a count of aggravated rape of a child. Police said that a 6-year-old female victim came forward and described Zuniga-Pacheco engaging in sexual intercourse with her at an apartment in Kenner.
Police said the girl described a pink lubricant used in the attack. Police said Zuniga-Pacheco admitted he used a lubricant for sexual intercourse, but denied raping the child.
Both men are in custody and no bond has been set.
