METAIRIE, La. -- The Saints waived linebacker Danny Clark to make room for offensive tackle Jordan Black, the team said Wednesday.

Black started the final nine games of the 2010 season with Jacksonville. He was drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs in 2003 and has started 40 of 80 games in his career.

Clark is in his 12th season, spending time with the Jaguar, Raiders, Texans and Giants along with two seasons in New Orleans. He has 663 career tackles.
