METAIRIE, La. ― Both receiver Lance Moore and safety Roman Harper are hopeful they'll be ready to play on Saturday when the Saints go against San Francisco in an NFC divisional playoff game.

Moore and Harper were listed as DNP in the official injury report by coach Sean Payton, but both said they went through individual drills during practice Wednesday.

'I mean, I kinda have to be,' Moore said when asked if he was optimistic. 'You know, it's been two, three weeks now and the frustration I feel on the sideline when I can't go in the game and I can't help the team is something that I don't want to feel again.

'But you know, I'm feeling better and we've still got a couple more days, so we'll see where I'm at.'

Moore re-injured his left hamstring after a catch during the Dec. 26 game against Atlanta. He has been listed as a DNP for seven straight practice days, but Wednesday he was back on the field, another sign he hopes shows he's close to ready.

'Before I wasn't even going out to practice,' Moore said. 'Now I'm doing the individual drills and getting a couple of reps here and there to test it out. We'll see.'

Harper, meanwhile, said he'll do everything he can to be on the field after doing something Wednesday.

'I don't think there really is a question,' Harper said. 'It's the playoffs. Everybody is on deck. I'm looking forward to it. It's going to be a great trip.'

Tight end John Gilmore (turf toe) has been out since suffering his injury during the Week 16 Atlanta game.

Linebackers Jonathan Vilma (left knee) and Jonathan Casillas (right knee) both were limited.
