PHILADELPHIA (AP) -- Police say a man has been charged in connection with a big brawl that broke out among people attending two different wedding receptions in a downtown Philadelphia hotel.

The fight involving dozens of people happened early Sunday in the Society Hill neighborhood. Police say a 57-year-old suffered a fatal heart attack outside the reception, but they don't know if he was involved in the fights.

Philadelphia police said Monday that one person has been charged and more arrests are expected. Authorities say 26-year-old Westfield, N.J., resident Matthew Sofka is charged with aggravated assault and other counts. A message left at a telephone listing for him was not immediately returned.

Police say the investigation is continuing and they expect more arrests. They don't know what started the brawl but say alcohol was involved.
