NEW ORLEANS -- New Orleans police are searching for a teenager wanted in carjacking near the Tulane and Loyola campuses.

Police have a warrant out for Frederick 'Freddie' George's arrest on an armed robbery change.

The incident happened Saturday around 6:15 p.m. near the intersection of Freret Street and Law Road.

Police say George was armed with a handgun when he stole the victim's vehicle. He later ditched the car near the intersection of S. Robertson and Calhoun, where police later recovered it.

The victim wasn't injured in the incident.
