NEW ORLEANS -- Food trucks were part of the focus of a food and art bazaar on St. Claude Avenue.

Organizers want to celebrate the efforts of the food truck vendors, and bring attention to the reforms being discussed by the New Orleans City Council.

Councilwoman Stacy Head's latest proposal to rewrite the ordinance includes a buffer zone of 100 feet for the distance a food truck must set up from regular restaurants.

The current law has a buffer zone of 600 feet.
