NEW ORLEANS -- Campus police arrested LSU freshman Jeryl Brazil early Friday morning and charged him with simple battery and criminal damage to property.

Les Miles said Brazil is suspended from the team indefinitely.

It's Brazil's second arrest in the last two months. He's a running back and defensive back from Loranger.

According to LSU police, Brazil is accused of grabbing a woman by the neck and pushing her down and then punching a hole in the wall of her apartment.

Police say the investigation into what happened is still ongoing.
