NEW ORLEANS -- Six people, including four students, are in the hospital after a school bus crash Wednesday afternoon.
It happened at about 4:15 p.m. near the intersection of Washington and South Claiborne avenues.
According to NOPD Spokesman Officer Frank Robertson, the bus collided with a vehicle that then overturned.
Four students were transported to a local hospital as a precaution, Robertson said, and two people in the overturned vehicle were also brought to the hospital.
None of the injuries are believed to be life threatening.
Robertson said the driver of the overturned vehicle received a citation for 'disregarding a signal light.'
