The U.S. District Court in New Orleans will be closed Wednesday, meaning a second day of delay in the huge Ray Nagin corruption trial.

Judge Ginger Berrigan had hoped to get back to court Wednesday at noon to resume jury selection, which is nearing an end after 60 potential jurors were questioned and attorneys for both sides discussed peremptory challenges.

Nagin's attorney, Robert Jenkins, said on his way out of court Monday that there were still some unresolved disputes about who would make the jury panel. But Berrigan said she needed to only question one more juror, and a full jury of 12 and four alternates could be impaneled rather quickly when court resumes Thursday.
