HARVEY, La. -- Jefferson Parish deputies have made an arrest in connection with the robbery of a West Bank church.

Jefferson Parish investigators say they have arrested Cantrell Gayle and Kathy Magee in connection with the theft of a speaker from St. John Bosco Church after they allegedly sold the speaker to a pawn shop, just days after Christmas.

Detectives believe they pawned the speakers on the same day that they stole them.

Investigators say they confessed to that crime but denied being involved in any of the other thefts at churches.
