NATCHITOCHES, La. -- A Minnesota woman is in protective custody after police in north Louisiana say she was held captive for more than two years.

Authorities say a husband and wife, along with a friend, met the woman on a sex site and helped her move into their Natchitoches home.

Soon after she arrived, authorities they tattooed her with a bar code and registered her on a slave website.

The victim, who is in her '50s, was then forced to complete chores and perform sex acts.

Police say when she tried to leave, she was tortured.

'Chained her outside for two days and night, nude, in the woods, no food, no water. She was put in Carmax storage unit in the back yard,' said Sheriff Victor Jones, Jr.

Somehow the woman freed herself and was able to get into a truck to find help.

The suspects in this case are expected to be arraigned later this week
