NEW ORLEANS -- The New Orleans Police Department is asking the public's help in finding a 32-year-old man wanted for a murder that happened in the Milan neighborhood last month.

Rononeal 'Ryan' Hickman, 32, is accused of the second-degree murder of 24-year-old Rodney Johnson, who was shot and killed at about 1:50 p.m. May 21 in the 2800 block of Milan Street.

NOPD spokesman Officer Garry Flot said the victim was found shot in the back yard of a home. He was pronounced dead in the hospital.

Detectives believe Hickman is behind the murder. Police are asking the public's help in finding him.
