NEW ORLEANS -- The Saints and left tackle agreed to terms on a two-year contract Thursday, keeping one of the two unrestricted free agent offensive linemen on the team.
The other - center Jonathan Goodwin - has yet to agree with any team during this quick-paced free agency period.
Bushrod, a 6-foot-5, 315-pounder out of Towson, has started the past two seasons at left tackle, providing consistency at a position many believe is the most important on the line because it protects the quarterback's blindside.
Reports also had Chicago and Minnesota playing the Bushrod sweepstakes, but ultimately, Bushrod stuck with the team that drafted him
