NEW ORLEANS -- If you noticed choppers flying over the French Quarter late Monday night, don't panic. The city of New Orleans says it is a pre-scheduled training exercise.

Lt. Col. Jerry Sneed, the deputy mayor for public safety, said it was part of a pre-planned Navy exercise that had been in the works for months.

Sneed stressed that the exercise was in no way connected to the explosions in Boston that left at least three people dead and 130 people injured Monday.
