NEWORLEANS-- A historic Royal Street restaurant will get to keep its famous name.

A bankruptcy judge approved a $3 million bid for the Brennan's name, logo, wine collection and recipes to an investment group that includes restaurateur Ralph Brennan, a cousin of the former owners.

Brennan and his group purchased the building at a foreclosure auction last year.

Right now, the iconic pink building is undergoing renovations, but Ralph Brennan said he'll resurrect the Brennan's name when the restaurant re-opens.
