NEW ORLEANS -- A grand jury indicted a suspect last week for the second-degree murder of a teenager in January, according to the Orleans Parish District Attorney's Office.

The grand jury indicted 21-year-old Aaron Pichard in the murder of 19-year-old Ronald Lenox last Thursday, said Christopher Bowman, a spokesman for the district attorney's office, on Tuesday.

Pichard is being held on a $1 million bond.

Police found Lenox outside of an abandoned home shot to death on Jan. 12 in the 300 block of North Miro Street. The next day police arrested Pichard in connection with the murder
