MINNEAPOLIS ― A week after Titans receiver Nate Washington called out New Orleans safety Roman Harper for being a dirty player, Vikings running back Adrian Peterson called out another player.

Peterson, who played in his first game in a month due to an ankle injury, said Saints cornerback Jabari Greer twisted that same appendage at the bottom of the pile.

'I came into the game kind of expecting that coming back from a high ankle sprain,' Peterson said. 'Guys are going to try and take their shots when we're on the pile and try to twist it up and things like that. I felt like it kind of got overboard. I got up and kind of got in his face. Thank God I was able to keep my composure.'

Greer has never been labeled dirty.

Peterson was held to 60 yards on six carries, including a 39-yard run.
