State Police: Kenner man dies in car crash; wasn't wearing seat belt
THIBODAUX -- The Louisiana State Police is investigating a Saturday morning incident that left one man dead when he swerved off the road and hit a culvert.
Shortly before 8 a.m., Chase Reynolds, 20 of Kenner, was killed when the Ford Expedition he was driving veered from La. 308 near Lafourche Crossing before striking a culvert and flipping, according to a State Police.
Reynolds was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene, Police said.
What caused Reynolds to leave the road is unclear, and toxicology tests are pending, according to the announcement.
