MANDEVILLE, La. - St. Tammany Parish deputies seized 19 marijuana plants from a Mandeville home last month.

Deshun 'Scooby' Jones, 25, was arrested at his home May 21 after police received a tip that Jones was selling marijuana at a local car wash in Mandeville.

After observing Jones at the car wash, police followed him back to his home and placed him under arrest.

Jones faces drug charges including manufacture of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, resisting arrest and a parole violation warrant.

Jones' roommate, 21-year-old Kimberly Carlson, was also arrested on the scene after her car was searched and police found additional evidence. Carlson was booked on drug charges including manufacture of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of synthetic marijuana.
