HOUMA, La. -- Houma police have arrested a suspect wanted for a double shooting over the weekend.
The shooting happened Sunday at 11:40 p.m. near the intersection of Grinage and Margaret streets.
According to the Houma Police Department, two men were shot at that location. One of them has been released after he was treated for a gunshot wound to the arm, but the other victim is still being treated for a shot to his chest.
Police were able to identify Charles Lee Talley Jr., 23, as a suspect, and Wednesday he surrendered to police. He faces two counts of attempted first-degree murder.
Talley is being held in the Terrebonne Parish Jail.
