NEW ORLEANS -- New Orleans police are investigating an Uptown shooting Sunday afternoon that left one man injured.

The shooting happened near the intersection of S. Carrollton Avenue and Olive Street.

NOPD spokesman Officer Frank Robertson said a 26-year-old man suffered a single gunshot wound. He's in critical condition.

Police haven't named a suspect or motive in the case.
