Also on the Eyewitness Evening News, three weeks after Hurricane Isaac, East St. John High School is set to open on Monday. However the school received extensive damage.

Paul Murphy is traveling to the area to get the latest update on the plans to reopen.

And, residents of Madisonville, in St. Tammany Parish, experienced quickly rising waters due to Isaac and were forced to evacuate.

The devastation has created hardships for returning community members.
