NEW ORLEANS The New Orleans Police Department is investigating a quadruple shooting Thursday morning.
It happened just after 11 p.m. near the intersection of New Orleans Street and N. Rocheblave Street, in the 7th Ward.
According to NOPD a 16-year-old male and a 19-year-old were riding in a vehicle when they were fired upon by an unknown gunmen.
The 19-year-old was the driver and the 16-year-old was the passenger, according to police.
The 16-year-old was shot in the stomach and back, and the 19-year-old was shot in the ankle.
The victims drove to themselves to the hospital.
During the shooting a 22-year-old male was also shot in the thigh and leg. He was transported to the hospital privately.
In addition, a 59-year-old male also sustained a bullet graze wound to the back.
The 16-year-old is listed in critical condition and the three other males appear to have non-life threatening injuries, according to police.
