JEFFERSON PARISH, La. Tonight the Jefferson Parish School Board is holding another meeting to talk about some proposed school closures for the upcoming school year.

The board is proposing to close seven schools in total. Two of the schools are in Metairie and the other five are on the Westbank.

At the public hearings, residents will also have the chance to comment on proposed boundary changes.

The meeting is at 6 o'clock this evening at Bonnabel Magnet Academy High School in Kenner. Another meeting is set for at 6 p.m. tomorrow at West Jefferson High School in Harvey.
