NEW ORLEANS -- WAFBis reporting that a Louisiana man hauled in a massive, 13-foot alligator Saturday in WestBatonRouge Parish.

The gator weighs weighs 760 pounds and is 13'4' long -- 33 pounds heavier than another gator caught last week in Mississippi that's believed to be the heaviest in that state's history.

Ventress resident Jim White said it's the biggest gator he's caught in his 35 years of hunting. The processing plant in Morganza that took in the gator said it was the biggest alligator they've ever handled.
