NEW ORLEANS -- After being postponed twice, the nice weather finally cleared the way for Super Sunday.

Mardi Gras Indians took to the streets of Central City to show off their costumes. Huge crowds came out to enjoy the weather and the highly anticipated Mardi Gras Indians and their tribe parade.

Time and time again the event was postponed because of the threat of bad weather, but folks were patient and said it was well worth the wait.

Mohawk Hunters and their elaborate costumes were just some of the real crowd pleases at this year's Super Sunday, but that was only part of the fun. There was also live music and lots of food.
