The opening of the Morganza spillway is protecting New Orleans and Baton Rouge from flooding, but it is flooding areas along the Atchafalaya Basin which raises some serious concern for wildlife that lives in that region, as well as for people with homes and farmland in that area.

Dennis talks with the Chief of the wildlife division of the State Department of Wildlife and Fisheries, Kenny Ribbeck about wildlife impacts, also with Insurance Commissioner Jim Donelon about the question of insurance for people that this flooding is affecting.
