One day after announcing his pick for vice president, Republican Mitt Romney is sitting down with that man, Paul Ryan, for their first joint interview as the GOP ticket, CBS News announced Sunday.

The network announced at the start of 'Face the Nation' that host Bob Schieffer, the network's chief Washington correspondent, was headed to North Carolina for the interview.

It is scheduled to air tonight on '60 Minutes.'

Romney announced Ryan, the Wisconsin congressman, as his running mate Saturday in Norfolk.

Watch the exclusive interview on '60 Minutes' tonight at 6 p.m. on CBS and Channel 4. The PGA golf championship is scheduled to conclude before 6 p.m. but should it continue past that time, '60 Minutes' will air immediately following.
