With a tad more than 24 hours to go before free agency opens up fully, left tackle Jermon Bushrod said he has yet to hear from the New Orleans Saints.

A preliminary negotiating period opened up Friday night, a time when teams were able to come to terms with their own free agents.

Several teams took advantage, including the Saints, who announced a three-year deal with defensive-end-turned-linebacker Junior Galette.

But Bushrod is the team's biggest free agent, one expected to attract interest from several teams.

And while Bushrod said there hasn't been any contact with the Saints, he's not worrying about it.

When asked Monday how things were going, Bushrod responded, 'Just living life, enjoying family and waiting.'

Free agency opens at 3 p.m. Tuesday.
