NEWORLEANS- Police are asking for help in finding a man who robbed a Capital One Bank in the 5600 block of Bullard Avenue Monday afternoon.

According to police, the suspect entered the bank and approached the teller window, implied he had a weapon and demanded money through a note. Police said he made off with an undetermined amount of money.

The suspect was captured on surveillance camera. He was described as 6' tall, weighing about 150 pounds with a thin build and short facial stubble or acne scarring. He has gold teeth both top and bottom and was wearing small rim glasses along with dark jeans, a long-sleeved shirt and a light baseball cap.

Anyone who has information is asked to contact the Federal Bureau of Investigation at 504-816-3000 or Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111. The Metropolitan Orleans Bank Security Association (MOBSA) is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and indictment of this bank robber.
