New Orleans -- Bourbon Street shooting suspect Trung Le has been extradited back to New Orleans, according to Chris Bowman with the Orleans Parish DA's office. He is currently in Orleans Parish Jail as of Saturday around 10 a.m.

This came after Gov. Bobby Jindal signed a governor's warrant Friday, and started the extradition process for Bourbon Street shooting suspect, 20-year-old Trung Le.

Le was in the custody of the Harrison County Sheriff's Office in Gulfport, Miss.

Police have said Le is believed to have fired the first shot in the gunfight that left one person dead and nine injured. He was arrested last week in Gulfport, Miss. and has been fighting extradition, refusing to sign the necessary papers.

Le was booked with one count of first-degree murder and nine counts of attempted first-degree murder. Le is an Asian male from Belle Chasse, Louisiana. His birth date is August 10, 1993.

The search for the second suspect continues in this case.
