The following parishes, schools and entities of the Archdiocese of New Orleans will host St. Joseph altars this month, continuing a tradition established by local Italian-Americans, for petitions and in thanksgiving to St. Joseph, the patron saint of Siciliy. ST. LOUIS CATHEDRAL, St. Anthony's Garden, 700 block of Royal St. (behind the Cathedral): March 19, Blessing by Archbishop Gregory M. Aymond at 8 a.m., who will lead a procession to the garden following the 7:30 a.m. Mass at St. Louis Cathedral. Public viewing from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., with reenactment of feeding the Saints at noon.
