HOUMA, La. - Three people died in a head-on collision in Terrebonne Parish Sunday evening, according to State Police.

Around 9 p.m., Juan Martinez-Silva, 56, of Lockport, was driving west on LA 182, just past LA 660, when he crossed the center line and slammed into a Cadillac Deville driven by a Lockport woman, according to State Police.

Martinez-Silva was pronounced dead on the scene. The driver of the Cadillac, Belinda Leonard, 48, of Lockport, died on the scene. A passenger in the Cadillac, John Steve, 34, of Raceland, died on the way to the hospital, according to State Police, and another passenger in the Cadillac, Natasha Rogers, 28, of Gray, suffered severe injuries in the crash.

According to State Police, alcohol use is unknown and toxicology tests are pending. The crash remains under investigation.
