NEW ORLEANS -- New Orleans police have released still images of a suspect seen fleeing in a pick-up truck from a murder in New Orleans East.

The murder happened April 23 in the 4200 block of McCoy Street at about 11:35 p.m.

According to police, the victim had been abducted from his home in the 4800 block of Sandalwood Street.

When police responded to reports of gunfire on McCoy Street, they found Lien Nguyen lying on the ground with gunshot wounds to his head and chest. His hands were tied behind his back.

The suspect is seen on traffic camera video fleeing in a gray-colored Nissan Titan pick-up truck with tinted windows. It was fleeing down McCoy Street to Darby Street, then north on Darby to Old Gentilly Road.

Nguyen and his wife ran The Food Express in Kenner.
