MANDEVILLE- The City Council will be briefed Thursday night on efforts to revamp Mandeville's security camera program.

About a dozen have been scattered throughout several city properties, including Sunset Point, the Harbor and the Trailhead for ten years. The purpose is to monitor vandalism-type issues.

A grant, the city has to match, is helping to cover the cost of replacing old cameras and installing some new ones on the lakefront and at several parks. The city hopes to put the project out for bid in a month, and they're looking for feedback from the public on the locations.
