NEWORLEANS-- New Orleans police are investigating a homicide Wednesday night in Algiers.

The incident happened in the 6100 block of Tullis Street shortly before 10 p.m.

According to NOPD, officers responded to a call of 'shots fired' in the Cypress Run apartment comples and upon arrival, officers located a 32-year-old man inside of an apartment suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

NOPD has not named a suspect or a motive.
