NEWORLEANS-- A 22-year-old man will spend the next 35 years behind bars in connection with a deadly home invasion in the St. Roch Neighborhood.

At criminal court late Wednesday, 22-year-old Dwayne Johnson pleaded guilty to three counts of manslaughter for the 2010 shooting that left 3 people dead and another wounded.

Johnson was originally charged with first-degree murder, but avoided a mandatory life sentence as part of a plea deal.

His alleged accomplice, Charles Franklin, still faces first-degree murder charges in the case.
