WWL-TV is seeking an Interactive Sales Manager. This position reports to the Director of Digital Media and will focus on all aspects of the station's digital revenue initiatives. The Interactive Sales Manager will lead the team of digital sellers, attain digital revenue goals and define new revenue opportunities. The position works closely with the Broadcast managers and sellers to execute digital sales strategies across integrated and direct sales teams. This person will be responsible for the following:

- Fully understand technologies that are foundational to the digital advertising enterprise

- Remain current on industry trends in the digital space; e.g., mobile, display, video, SEM, email marketing

- Set, meet and exceed aggressive interactive revenue goals

- Hire, lead, manage and develop a team of best-in-market digital sales executives

- Price and package interactive products and report on their success or challenges

- Create and maintain smooth workflow processes between broadcast and digital sales teams

- Build strong relationships with industry and agency decision makers

- Manage ad inventory across core site and audience extension networks

Key Skills and Abilities

- Extensive knowledge of digital sales processes, digital platforms, technical markets, pricing models, technology trends, customer buying patterns and budgeting.

- Strong experience in local media advertising

- Ability to attract, develop, and retain team members who achieve their performance goals

- Action-oriented, effective communicator with strong leadership and development skills

- Confident personality and strong sense of urgency

- Able to think strategically, act tactically and effectively manage multiple projects

Job Requirements

- 4+ years of Interactive Sales Experience

- 1+ years of management experience (preferably in local digital media)

- Extensive knowledge of the local business community
