NEWORLEANS-- Authorities are looking for a suspect that held up a Mid-City store Tuesday, according to the New Orleans Police Department.

Police released surveillance video of the robbery, showing the suspect pulling a gun on a store clerk and a customer at the business in the 3300 block of Bienville Street, according to police.

According to a statment from the NOPD, 'the suspect casually walked into the store wearing a wig and produced a pistol and demanded cash. The store's employee complied and with the assistance of a customer gave the suspect a grocery styled plastic bag containing $3500 in cash. The suspect still wasn't satisfied he demanded two mobile phones still in the box.'

The suspect is described by police as an African American male, 5'7'tall, weighing approximately 120 pounds. He was wearing a woman's wig and sunglasses, white shirt, green medical scrubs, carrying a white bag, according to police.

Police are trying to determine if the suspect is responsible for two robberies at the same business. The last one occurring on Dec. 27, according to police.
