NEWORLEANS- Traffic using the Tchoupitoulas exit from the Crescent City Connection will have to travel in the upriver direction most of the day through the Super Bowl on February 3, the Department of Transportation and Development announced Wednesday.

According to the DOTD, traffic coming from the west bank will not be allowed to turn left onto Tchoupitoulas or go straight into riverbound Calliope Street between the hours of 10 am and 6 am.

The restrictions are due to events associated with the Super Bowl.

Traffic will be able to turn left or go straight only during the rush hours of 6 am until 10 am.
