NEW ORLEANS -- Carnival is just a memory, but a whole new parade season is just starting.

Sunday in St. Bernard Parish, the Irish Italian Islenos Community Parade rolled down Judge Perez Drive, and the produce was flying.

Rocky Tommaseo of Rocky and Carlo's Restaurant is this year's king, and his wife Katie is the queen.

This year's theme is 'Got seafood?'

Trash used to be an indicator of a parade's popularity, but this year the opposite is true. Parks and parkways held a contest for the cleanest median section.
