NEW ORLEANS -- A French Quarter merchant is in trouble with federal investigators for selling counterfeit NFL jerseys.

Mohammed Sameer Ahmed, 38, was charged in court today with trafficking in counterfeit goods.

According to the bill of information, investigators found 58 counterfeit Saints jerseys at the store between June and October of 2010.

If convicted Ahmed could face a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison and a fine of up to $2 million.
