Drew Brees, according to ProFootballFocus, was the 79th-best player in the NFL in 2012. That would make him the eighth-best player in the NFC South.

And, if Twitter is any indicator, that's a miscalculation on par with the worst offenses known to mankind.

Brees threw the second-most interceptions of his career and his 63 percent completion percentage was his lowest since his third season in the NFL.

Still, without Brees, the Saints likely don't even get to seven wins in 2012 with everything that happened. He threw for 5,177 yards, his third season with more than 5,000 yards passing, and he tossed a league-high 43 touchdown passes.

It's hard to believe that there were 78 players better than Brees in 2012. Was it a down year for him? Absolutely. But a down year for Brees isn't a down year for most.

Ahead of Brees and this will get Who Dats riled up was Atlanta quarterback Matt Ryan at No. 17.

No. 17 Matt Ryan (QB, Atlanta)
