GIBSON, La. When deputies went to a man's house with an arrest warrant in relation to child support, they discovered illegal narcotics and thousands of dollars in cash, according to the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff's Office.

On Thursday night, deputies arrived at the Gibson home of Roosevelt Stewart, 66, to execute the warrant, TPSO said.

After agents spotted drugs in the home, they obtained a search warrant for the residence, deputies said.

They recovered $16,220 in cash, approximately $200 worth of marijuana, $1,200 worth of crack cocaine and a fully loaded .22 rifle.

Stewart was arrested for possession with the intent to distribute crack cocaine, possession with the intent to distribute marijuana, possession of a firearm while in possession of illegal narcotics and illegal proceeds from drug transactions.

Stewart was booked into the Terrebonne Parish Jail on a $150,000 bond.

His arraignment date was set for August 27.
